123CPhT is a brand new course from RxTechExam.com that obtained PTCB-Recognition last July. It is a complete redesign of our original course using everything we’ve learned over the last 8 years training thousands of people to pass the PTCB Exam. This course was built for our students to master the 2023 PTCB knowledge areas. Upon passing the course you’ll receive a Completion Certificate necessary to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE). This trial consists 1 of 9 of the course modules, with on-demand video, and practice questions. You will have access to the content for 14 days.
Introduction to Pharmacy
In this chapter we will discuss what pharmacy is, the different types of pharmacies and pharmacy personnel, the roles of pharmacy personnel, qualities of successful pharmacy technicians, and the basic principles of becoming a pharmacy technician.
Course Layout
This sample course contains 3 modules, each containing a series of instructional videos, which are paired with quizzes, simulations, electronic flash-cards, and other learning aids to reinforce key exam objectives. Our Full Course covers every element of the 2021 PTCB Exam.
123CPhT went into development 6 months after the latest PTCE change in June of 2020 and began enrolling students on July 1st, 2021.

Medical Terminology
The Medical Terminology chapter will set you up with the foundation to speak the pharmacy “language”. To become certified as a pharmacy technician you are responsible for memorizing the Top 200 Medications that are dispensed each year, including their brand name, generic name, medication class, and DEA schedule.
Health Sciences
The Health Sciences chapter will focus on the body and how the body uses medications to achieve their desired effect. During this chapter you will learn about anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pharmaceutics, and pharmacokinetics while building upon the concepts and medications you learned about in Medical Terminology.
