The PTCE Practice Bank is a powerful study tool that gives candidates a highly flexible way to prepare for the PTCE. It contains hundreds of PTCE questions that have been used in the actual PTCE and allows users to create and take their own “tests” (groups of questions based on PTCE domain and level of difficulty). The Pre-PTCETM
Pre-PTCE contains questions formerly used on the PTCE and simulates the same look, feel, and functionality as the actual PTCE experience. This allows you to become familiar with the real exam experience before test day. The Pre-PTCE is also unique in that it provides explanations for the answers after the candidate submits responses but before receiving a score.

Because there is one form of the Pre-PTCE, taking it multiple times is not advised. PTCB recommends that candidates who anticipate needing more practice first use the PTCE Practice Bank. The Pre-PTCE is intended as a final check of readiness after studying.
